Butterfly Garden, or Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre, is the biggest place of its kind in South East Asia. It is a great new attraction close to Siem Reap, some 25 km north of the city.

Enjoy a break at the Butterfly garden, which is located not far from the Landmine Museum.

You can admire here thousands of butterflies, flying around. All species are native to Cambodia. The friendly and knowledgable staff will guide you throug the facilities and you will be able to watch all stages from a butterfly life-cycle from eggs, to caterpillars, pupae, hatching and then see the beautiful flying butterflies. It is a very tranquil place, definitely worth a visit. The Butterfly garden is located not far from the Landmine museum and the Banteay Srey Temple, so usually we combine the visit in one day trip, depending on your wishes of course.

The Butterfly Garden is a lovely little place that gives you a little break from all the temple hoping which can be exhausting after some time. It is a very fairy-tale like place and children and adults alike will be amazed by the colourful, beautiful butterflies of all sizes. A great place to take uniques photos.
