Bayon Temple, the fabulous masterpiece of Angkor Thom, the capital of Angkor Empire will be undergoing extensive restoration beginning on January 1, 2020. This late 12th century temple will undergo extensive restauration. There is no fixed date for re-opening but the works take up to several years. You should not postpone your visit to the magnificent Angkor Temples!
