Day 0: Welcome to Siem Reap, the provincial capital and gateway to the ancient Angkor Temples in the Kingdom of Wonder, designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for the Angkor Archaeological Park! You will be met at the Siem Reap airport by an Eco-Trails.Asia representative to be taken to your hotel.

Day 1: After breakfast we will visit the Banteay Srey temple and on the way to the Butterfly Garden displaying dozens of amazingly beautiful butterflies. We will return to the hotel and after getting some rest we will hold a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon visit Silk farm where we will see the traditional way of weaving and colouring of this traditional material. You will be able to purchase the products. We shall stop for lunch in a local restaurant.

Day 2: Enjoy an entire day dedicated to discovering the mysterious Angkor temples. You may want to wake before dawn to visit sunrise at Angkor Wat temple. Dawn is one of the most beautiful and haunting times to visit the temples, whose ancient sandstone blocks are gilded gold by the early morning rays. Return to the hotel for breakfast then set out on a full day temple tour, proceeding to Angkor Thom’s imposing South Gate, topped with the four serenely smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara. Next, visit Bayon temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Enjoy lunch at one of the local owned restaurant near elephant Terrace before venturing into the Angkorian jungle to visit Ta Promh, a fascinating temple that has been reclaimed by nature and which resembles the set of an Indiana Jones film. After returning to your hotel you will have time to relax by the swimming pool. In the evening your guide will pick you up for dinner. After dinner you may wish to explore the Night Market and hone your negotiation skills.

Day 3: Today you will explore the Grand Circuit and visit Preah Kanh, the large monastic complex built in 1191 A.D as the order of King Jayavarman VII to dedicate to his father Dharanindravarman. The visit Neak Pean and the twin temples East Mebon and Pre Rup . Lunch at Preah Dak and you will be able to discover beautiful places and natural life mixed with souvenirs shops. Most things are handmade.
After lunch visit Banteay Samre temple and then come back to Pre Rup temple if time allow for the sunset .

Day 4: Early in the morning we will catch a boat to Phnom Penh. During the seven hour journey we will pass floating villages, flooded forests and interesting bird and shore life. After check in to the hotel you will be able to get the last souvenirs at bargain prices at the Russian Market. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner. While having a sumptuous multicourse meal we will discuss the highlights of your evading vacation, take your points for improvement and plan the next ones! Dinner will be accompanied by the Apsara dance performance formerly reserved only to the royalty.

Day 5: In the morning we will visit the Royal Palace and the National Museum. Transfer to the airport for your outbound flight is the last part of our program.
